The Scottish Curry Awards were established in 2008 to recognise and reward the curry industry in all its facets, the Awards are completely devoted to Scotland’s love of curry… the folk that slave away in a cloud of heady spices to create and serve the scrummy dishes that disappear in mere moments of the fork or fingers diving in; the restaurants’ and take-aways’ entourage who serve up excellence as standard; and those that are genuine fruit-loops for the dish!

There is no denying that everyone has enjoyed the a good curry at some point in their lives, however, the Scottish Curry Awards not only focus on the effort that goes into each dish, but also the preparation, efficiency and presentation along with the attitude and devotion to these dishes.

Every nominee has their own unique background which reflects their commitment to the curry industry; something we want to expose and reward as their inspirational talent continues to offer us all the finest meals where pride means quality.

However, the Scottish Curry Awards are not solely focused on recognising and honouring the humble curry; they are also dedicated to raising funds for the Awards official charity partner, the Scottish Spina Bifida Association.
